How does the contest work?
Readers will enter their favorite pet's picture with a $15 donation to NIE. After the entry period has finished, readers will vote in three rounds with $1 donations. Votes will not carry over from one round to the next.

Are there prizes?
The winner will be featured on the cover of our keepsake 2010 Pet of the Year calendar. The 11 pets with the next highest votes will be featured inside of the calendar. Photographs for the calendar will be take in late November/early December.
