Readers have submitted pictures of their pets with a $15 donation to The Tennessee Newspaper In Education Group, an official 501(c)(3), which supports NIE programs at The Tennessean, The Daily News Journal and The Leaf-Chronicle.
During the voting period, readers have voted on their favorite pet with $1 donations to the NIE program. Rounds One and Two have been completed. The Top 25 pets from Round Two are featured on the Vote tab. Readers can now vote in the third and final round.
The pet with the most votes in Round Three will become our Pet of the Year and be featured on the cover and inside of our keepsake 2010 calendar. The next eleven pets with the highest vote totals will be Runners Up and featured inside the keepsake calendar.
During Round Three, all voters will be entered into a daily drawing for a prize valued at $20. One winner per day will be picked at random out of that day’s eligible votes. The daily winner will be posted on the Welcome Tab. Mailed and walk in votes are also eligible for the drawing.
100% of all donations support Newspaper In Education programs at The Tennessean, The Daily News Journal, and The Leaf-Chronicle. To participate without a donation, please read the official rules.
